Welcome to 1st Longtown Guides

We are a new Girl Guides Unit in Longtown Cumbria to give Longtown Brownies the chance to continue their girlguiding experience between the ages of 10 and 14. Girls who have never been in girlguiding before are also welcome to join.

We are part of the UK’s largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women. We offer a safe, single sex environment where girls can meet up and learn about issues that are important to them in our society today. We also have great fun learning new creative skills, cookery, team games and visiting new places. From crafts to cooking to abseiling and archery we aim to offer local girls the chance to take part in all these activities.
